Fun in the Snow

Well one week ago Hayden and I went outside to enjoy the nice sunny spring like day and today we went outside to enjoy the snow.....Missouri weather ya just never know. Anyhow this was Hayden's first time to play in the snow. He had been going to the window and looking out at it a lot and when we got outside he just looked around like what is all this and then he started crawling in it like no big deal.

Spring Fever

Well today was one of those days nice warm days that gives you a little taste of spring and makes me so ready for those warmer days ahead. It was so nice, temps in the 60s so Hayden and I ventured outside and I tried to get a few good pictures, which turned out to be quite a challenge. He was to busy trying to crawl around, feeling the grass, and trying to put leaves in his mouth so I didn't get many of him looking at the camera, but of course I'm still going to put a couple that I did get out here for your viewing pleasure.

Where did the last 9 months go?

Hayden is 9 months old today. WOW. It doesn't seem possible and I honestly can't remember what we did before we had him around. I know everybody always says they don't know what they did before they had kids and I'm now one of those people. He is just doing so much and learning new stuff all the time. His new thing is giving high fives. He just taps your hand with his, but we clap and get all excited and he thinks that's funny. Today he was chewing on my finger and I noticed something felt sharp and sure enough a little tooth is starting to poke out. We are so used to him not having teeth it will be funny to see him with teeth. He is just such a happy little boy. Sure hope he stays that way :)

First Haircut

Hayden got his very first haircut today. He doesn't have a whole lot of hair, but he had some long pieces and it was hanging over his ears so off we went to see aunt Lisa for a first haircut. Hayden did good and didn't move too much so it was pretty quick and easy. I also had to throw in a picture of Hayden modeling his new hat and vest he got for Christmas.

Happy New Year

Hi and welcome to the Scott Family Blog. Seems that everybody is creating blogs and I enjoy reading all of yours so my new years resolution was to create my own blog so here goes. I don't promise that mine will be as witty and funny as the rest, but I'll promise to at least have cute pictures of Hayden :). We had a wonderful year last year as new parents and we are looking forward to the adventures 2009 will bring with Hayden. First steps, first words, and I'm sure many many other firsts and adventures. Currently little Hayden is very mobile and adventurous little guy. He is crawling everywhere and pulling up to anything that will hold still long enough for him to get his hands on it.
